Class/Course Terms and Conditions Booking Procedure If you would like to start pole dancing classes, you will need to start at level one regardless of prior dance experience. If you have done pole dancing before however, you will need to speak to someone at reception to discuss a course that will suit your current level of ability. To get started on a direct debit system, you will need to choose a membership package that suits your needs. Our packages start at Bronze level, which entitles you to one class per week of your choice, and end with Platinum which allows you unlimited classes per week in any dance style. It's best to call the studio and book a free consultation with our friendly staff so we can help you with this process. Once that has been decided, you will need to book at least your first 3 weeks worth of classes just to ensure you get the time and day you want. You may book the entire 8-weeks if you prefer. If you'd prefer to pay up front, all you need to do is choose which day you'd like to start and call us to book over the phone. It's as simple as that! You can drop into the studio to book or call us to book over the phone.
Class Info and Reservations If you are interested in a particular course at a particular time that we are not currently running, please contact us and we will put your details on the waiting list. Once we have enough students to run the course, we will contact you with the details. Alternatively, if you can get a group of 7-10 people together we are happy to put on a course for you at any time we don't have classes on. We can do extra classes on the weekend or weekdays at a time that suits you. Students wanting to transfer from other Pole Dancing studios must be assessed by staff at Pole Princess before being admitted into any of our courses.
Make-up classes As we only take a limited number of students to ensure everyone has their own pole, please make sure you can make each class that you book into every week for the duration of your course. We cannot guarantee "make-up" classes if you miss one of your classes nor do we offer refunds. If you book a class and do not attend, it will be counted as a used class as we require 24 hours notice of any classes you can't make. If you don't attend your class one week, it does not roll over to the next week. We will only allow a make up class if you call 24 hours before your class that you can't make. You can attend any of the other pole classes of your level during the week if there is enough room, but you must call or email ahead of time. Please be aware we are open most public holidays. Please refer to our timetable to see if your class is running.
Other Info to Note We understand that sometimes uncontrollable circumstances affect students getting to classes on time but we ask that every effort is made to arrive on time. The warm up part of our classes are essential to help prevent injuries and therefore students arriving after the warm up will be responsible to warm up alone before joining the rest of the class.
Cancellation Policy Deposits are non-refundable. A full refund on courses is allowed (minus the cancellation fee of $50) if 14-21 days notice is given before the commencement of the course. You may also transfer your deposit to another course if there are places available. No refund or transfer will be given with less than 14 days notice under any circumstances. There are no refunds on casual classes or workshops, however, if we are given more than 48 hours notice we will transfer the payment to another class. Dropping out of courses half way through will not entitle you to a refund for the remaining part of the course. If on a direct debit system, you will need to see out the minimum term of 8-weeks.
What to Wear We recommend:
Advice Heels are not required for Princess Workout classes, runners are better suited. Shorts are not required for workshops or non-pole related classes (excluding Pole related workshops), you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Please avoid wearing any lotion or oil on your hands and body prior to coming to class as it will cause you to slip off the pole You may want to bring a water bottle and small towel. We provide yoga mats for floor work. We have fully equipped change rooms so you can bring your things with you and change here. We also have lockers for your belongings available without charge.
Injuries and Pregnancies If you have any current injuries that interfere with normal exercise or you may be pregnant, we require a certificate from your doctor or physiotherapist confirming you are able to participate in any of our classes.
